Amber Alert

What are we doing? Are we heading for the modern version of the dark ages? The people in charge still seem oblivious to the plight they lay out for “the land of the free.” When was the last time you…felt the government was doing a good job? Go ahead and think back as long as you care to remember.

When was the last time you…felt good about the economy? You could see it was going to crash for a long time. It couldn’t go on the way it was forever! Never has, never will. In this case not only did the government allow it to drive off the cliff, so did the private individuals whose greed and graft got the best of them too. Does that mean the government should take over more of the private sector? Hell No! It is obvious they have no concern whatsoever about “our” security, financial or otherwise.

And now the worst yet of all of it, when was the last time you…thought race relations was a dividing issue in the social fabric of the country? Aside from a few pockets of “inbredness” still in the backwoods of thought, it was gone. You are welcome to argue, but aside from those who benefit from racial unrest and propagate it on purpose, it was gone. Hey! We elected a black president! How much farther from racial discrimination can you get than that!?

So what do we get now? Any questioning or disagreement with this president’s policies is Racism! Every where you turn on the news today it is racist this, racist that. Any opposition is now not only racist but heading us back into the KKK days! Everyone including the people saying it, know it isn’t so. It is such a blatant ploy to distract attention away from the real issues at hand it’s preposterous (if that word is even understood anymore).

And the worst of the worst part of this technique is it now brings to the forefront and proliferates the ugliest of human interaction. This administration and the supportive media are more willing to bring back the worst and ugliest parts of what a society can be than to be honest people and work diligently together to uplift all that has made us a great country for all its people. Come on, it is obvious to anyone, they would rather tear us down than have us succeed.

What are we doing?

You’re right…How can we question racism when we elected a black president. There is no excuse to ever use that word again!!!!
