Nero’s Fiddle

The “in the bag for Obama” media is doing us all a disservice, including themselves. The “changes” this administration wants to do to this country are big ones which may in fact have a very deleterious effect on life in the USA as we have known it.

I submit the people at the top of this “change machine” do not really know what they are doing. They have been “pot stirrers” all their lives and once this pot is stirred the way they want, it may be very hard to remedy later.

The reasons I suggest this scenario are these:

The economy “inherited” by this administration has been made exponentially worse by this administration. They had options, proven options, they could have done to get the economy back on track but they chose to make it worse instead.

“Taking over” the lending entities they did and auto industries is not the governments place to be in. The market needs to take care of itself. Look at how the cash for clunk is going. A simple process of reimbursing dealers for the rebate is too fouled up with red tape to work. The dealers are getting screwed.

The “stimulus bill” has done nothing to help boost the economy. Job loss continues. Companies and small business continue going out of business.

The debt being incurred will break us…and what do these people want to do? They want to destroy not only yet another industry but one of the biggest and most important we have. You have to be seriously in denial to think the government take over of the best health care system in the world is a good thing. It is absolutely not a good thing. It is not good the way this administration is railroading and jamming these bills forward so fast as to not even be reading them … are you really comfortable with that?

Then there is the media, the press, who have taken up the liberal cause wilfully, gleefully and unabashedly. My question is, “Who do you think you are?” You’re not one of them. You’re not one of the royalty these people think they are. All of the troubles heading our way will not miss you. Your jobs will be gone like everyone else. Your homes will be foreclosed upon like everyone else. The administration can’t pay for all of their fervent desires, flying in their gulf streams while you down-size to some hybrid compact they wouldn’t be caught dead in. You’ll pay for it like everyone else.

You are like the court jesters who “play” at the pleasure of the ungrateful leader who will turn on you the minute you start to question him. I recognized your part the other day in watching the movie Titanic: You will be the ones playing the music for the panicked crowds as the ship goes down.

You people are a bunch of suckers.
